Iodoflex™ Impregnated Dressing Pad, Per Pad

Iodoflex Cadexomer Iodine Gel Pad Dressing, by Smith & Nephew, are specially formulated, sterile wound dressings utilizing a 3-in-1 mode of action to kill bacteria, manage exudate, and debride wound beds. Intended for use in cleaning wet ulcers and wounds such as venous stasis ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, and infected traumatic and surgical wounds. When applied, Iodoflex Pads clean the wound by absorbing fluids, removing exudate, slough and debris while simultaneously forming a gel over the wound's surface. As they absorb, iodine is released, killing bacteria and changing color. When a change in color (white) is visible, the dressing should be changed.

Iodoflex Cadexomer Iodine Gel Pad Dressings contains Cadexomer Iodine which can absorb up to six times its weight in fluid, resulting in fewer dressing changes. The pads are specially coated with a non-adhesive fluid which can reduce trauma and discomfort during dressing changes, while encouraging patient compliance.
